Bjorn Baker not getting ahead of himself with Ozzmosis at Randwick
Trainer Bjorn Baker is confident Ozzmosis is a horse on the rise but is under no illusions when it comes to winning two-year-old races in Sydney.
TAB rates the son of Zoustar as the $2.30 favourite in the opening race on Randwick's card but Baker said there are no easy races in Sydney and the juvenile contests are the toughest.
That has been on show in the last two weeks with two-year-old winners Congregation and Tannhauser hard in the market for Saturday's Group 1 JJ Atkins in Brisbane.
"There's no easy two-year-old races in Sydney but he's a nice horse going forward and he's another one Darby (Racing) have found," Baker said.
"It's not going to be easy but he's showed enough in that debut run to warrant a crack here and if he can go on with it then maybe we can look at some spring targets.
"Gets in pretty well with the claim for Dylan Gibbons which might just help him.
"His trials leading up to his debut run were good and his work has been good since.
"He's one of three exciting prospects for the stable on Saturday."
